COVID-19-related death toll touches 30

VGP – The Ministry of Health announced that a 51-year-old COVID-19 patient from Hai Chau district, Da Nang died on early August 27.

The man had several underlying health conditions including end-stage chronic kidney failure. He had been receiving dialysis for the past 15 years, suffering high blood pressure, and heart failure. 

He died at Hoa Vang medical center in the central city of Da Nang.

The causes of his death included pneumonia caused by COVID-19, septic shock, multi-organ failure in patient with end-stage chronic renal failure, hypertension, failure heart, and peritoneal dialysis.  

Viet Nam reported no new COVID-19 cases on August 27 morning, keeping the national tally at 1,034, including 632 recovered patients and 30 deaths./.
