The downsizing trend of the CPI increase during the past four months has temporary helped drive away the inflation concern.

July’s CPI, as reported by the General Statistics Office, only rose by 0.06%, the lowest figure since March 2009. This is also the lowest increase in every July since 2004.

The CPI began spiraling down since May (climbed up by 0.27% against April), which means economic recovery and a good background for next macro-economic policies to realize the target of 6.5% growth rate this year.

Experts held that if this trend is maintained, there would be adjustments in certain policies in order to achieve the above target. And the low inflation will facilitate bond issuance.
