Da Nang: Number of int’l guests surge 20%

VGP – Da Nang welcomed 328,810 guests, up 10.7%, including 158,328 foreigners (up 19.9%), during the Lunar New Year festival, the Da Nang Department reported on February 11.

During the holidays, additional international air routes were put into operation, including Incheon-Da Nang (Vietjet Air), Busan - Da Nang (Korean Air), Daegu – Da Nang (Vietjet, Jeju Air), Osaka –Da Nang (Vietnam Airlines), Bangkok - Da Nang (Thai Vietjet Air), Doha - Da Nang (Qatar Airways).

From January 31, Vietnam Airlines opened Da Nang-Can Tho air route with seven flights per week.

The city launched attractive programs including Spring fireworks, New Year’s Eve program, Spring flavor 2019, and a welcome ceremony for the first guests.
