Daily COVID-19 update: 15 new patients, more people medically monitored

Of the total, 14 patients were on the same flight VN0054 landing at the Noi Bai International Airport on March 2 with 217 passengers and crew members.

Ten of the aforesaid 14 patients are foreign nationals, including 8 from UK, one from Ireland, and one from Mexico.

The rest, who is native of Thai Binh, returned to Viet Nam from the Republic of Korea.

As of 8 pm on Monday, 2,336 people have been tested negative for the virus while 210 others have been quarantined in a bid to prevent the spread of the virus, said the Ministry of Health.

In addition, 20,075 people have been medically monitored due to close contact with suspected cases or coming from the epidemic affected areas./.
