Deputy PM Phạm Gia Khiêm receives Swedish Parliamentary delegation

VNGOVNet - Deputy PM, Foreign Minister Phạm Gia Khiêm had a cordial reception to the Swedish Parliamentary External Affairs Committee’s delegation headed by Mr. Aleksander Gabelic, a parliamentarian of the Swedish Social Democratic Party, Chairman of the Sweden’s United Nations Association in the March 8 afternoon.

All the delegates expressed their pleasure to pay a working visit to Vietnam and witness the country’s socio-economic achievements, especially in hunger elimination and poverty reduction, during the course of renovation and integration into the regional and global economy. They were convinced that Vietnam would continue to develop in all spheres of life.

At the meeting, Deputy PM, Foreign Minister Phạm Gia Khiêm thanked and highly appreciated the generous and effective support for Vietnam by the Parliament, Government and people of Sweden during the past four decades. He emphasized that the friendship and cooperation between the two countries will further bloom for the two people’s benefit as well as for the sake of peace, stability, and development in the world.
