Deputy Prime Minister Phuc visits Japan

VGP – Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc will lead a Vietnamese delegation to pay an official visit to Japan from July 1-5.

The Deputy Prime Minister is accompanied by Chief Judge of the Supreme People's Court Truong Hoa Binh, Minister of Justice Ha Hung Cuong, Deputy Head of the Central Steering Committee for Judicial Reform Le Thi Thu Ba, Party Central Committee’s Organization Commission Nguyen Hoang Viet, Chairman of the National Assembly’s Law Committee Phan Trung Ly, Chairman of the National Assembly’s Justice Committee Nguyen Van Hien, Deputy Foreign Minister Le Luong Minh, Ambassador to Japan Doan Xuan Hung, and Vice Chairman of the National Assembly’s Office Nguyen Sy Dung.

During his stay in Japan, Deputy Prime Minister Phuc is expected to pay courtesy calls to the Japanese Prime Minister, the Speaker of the Councillors; hold talks with his Japanese counterpart; and meet with some of Japanese politicians.

Deputy Prime Minister Phuc will also meet with scholars and professors of Japanese universities.
