Dong Nai’s exports exceeds US$ 13 bln
VGP – The southern province of Dong Nai has shipped over US$ 13 billion worth of goods abroad, posting a year-on-year increase of over 19%.

The Dong Nai Department of Statistics reported that this is the first time the province achieved the high export figure.
The FDI sector took the lead with US$ 11.3 billion of export revenue; followed by the private sector with US$ 1.5 billion.
The biggest hard currency earners included footwear, garments and textiles, fiber, wood products, machines, instruments and spare parts.
The local Department of Planning and Investment also announced that as of Mid-December, the province lured over US$ 1.6 billion in FDI, including 75 newly licenced projects worth nearly US$ 593 million and 84 expanded projects./.
