DPM: Party, State facilitate youth exchanges between VN, Russia

VGP – The Vietnamese Party and State always create favorable conditions for youth exchanges to enhance friendship, knowledge and experience sharing between Viet Nam and Russia, said Deputy PM Pham Binh Minh at his reception for Head of the Russian Federal Agency for Youth Affairs Alexander Bugayev on July 23 in Ha Noi.

At the meeting, Minh welcomed Alexander Bugayev and the Russian youth delegation to Viet Nam to attend the Viet Nam-Russia Youth Forum in 2019 in Ha Noi. 

He highly spoke of the coordination between the two nations’ youth agencies in organizing the first Viet Nam-Russia Youth Forum in Viet Nam and the first Viet Nam-Russia Women Forum on the occasion of the Viet Nam Year in Russia and the Russia Year in Viet Nam and the 25th anniversary of the signing of the treaty on fundamental principles of Viet Nam – Russia friendship(1994-2019) and the 70th founding anniversary of diplomatic ties (1950-2020). 

Minh expressed his delight at the recent signing ceremony of the Memorandum of Understanding in 2019-2022 period between the National Committee on Youth of Viet Nam and the Russian Federal Agency for Youth Affairs, which refers to practical contents related to young leaders exchange, children’s exchange, young businessmen cooperation and youth volunteers, opening a new chapter in the two sides’ youth cooperation.  

He suggested the two nations’ youth in general and agencies in charge of youth in particular continue launching activities to strengthen friendship and cooperation between the two sides.  

Alexander Bugayev expressed his thanks to the Vietnamese Government for support in organizing the first Viet Nam-Russia Youth Forum in Ha Noi. 

He expected that the forum and the signing of the memorandum of understanding will boost the two nations’ cooperative relations in the time ahead.
