Dutch group builds trade center

The project, a joint venture between ECC Group and Singapore-based real estate company Guocoland Việt Nam, has a total investment capital of US $33 million in which ECC holds 80%.  

The construction of the trade center is scheduled in the second half of the year, with the first phase to be finished in the third quarter of 2011 and the second phase in the fourth quarter of 2012. Once completed, the project is expected to create 3,000 jobs.  

Covering an area of 82,000 square meters, Promenada@Canary will be Việt Nam’s leading shopping space of international standards. The trade center is located in the high-class Canary urban complex in Bình Dương, opposite the Việt Nam-Singapore Industrial Park 1.  

The Canary complex consists of 1,200 luxurious apartments, hotels, and international schools invested by Kinderworld. In addition, there are a sports complex and the Canary entertainment center.
