Fees for handling of competition cases

VGP – The Ministry of Finance has issued Circular No. 251/2016/TT-BTC on the collection, collection method, remittance, management and use of fees for the handling of competition cases.

The charge for handling complaints against unfair competition actions shall be VND 10,000,000/ case and that for tackling competition restriction actions shall be VND 100,000,000/ case.

The charge for handling independent requests of persons having relevant rights and obligations shall be VND 10,000,000/case.

The charge for appraisal of the applications for exemption in a competition case shall be VND 50,000,000/ application.

The charge collector is the Viet Nam Competition Authority, under the Ministry of Industry and Trade.

This Circular will come into effect from January 1, 2017.
