First Ha Noi-Tokyo direct route launched

VGP - All Nippon Airways Co, Ltd (ANA) has officially launched the first Ha Noi -Tokyo direct route with one flight per day. The first flight is scheduled to take off on March 30 to meet the increased customers' demand.

ANA was the largest airline in Japan by passenger numbers and revenues in 2012.

The daily flight will take off from Haneda at 8.45 am and arrive at Noi Bai Airport at11.55 am, while the return flight will depart at 2pm.
 
The route will use Boeing 767s and from June modern Boeing 787s. Roundtrip fare is US$ 650.
 
According to ANA, in 2013, the number of Vietnamese arrivals in Japan reached around 75,000.

ANA expects the number will  triple to 200,000 per year by 2020 with the launching of the route, adding that the Vietnamese economy is recovering, which could boost the demand for travel.

Established in December 1952, ANA has become Japan’s biggest airline and ranked ninth in the world in terms of revenue as of 2012. It flies to 50 cities in Japan and 32 foreign cities.

ANA has continuously expanded its international network, particularly to active markets such as North America, Europe and Southeast Asia.
