First marble mill put into operation
VNGOP – First products of the US $10-million marble producing factory in Hải Phòng City start their appearance in the world market.

Alliance Minerals Pvt. Ltd (AMPL) Việt Nam Company, a subsidiary of India’s Gimpex-Chenai Group just inaugurated a marble mill in Kênh Giang Commune of Thủy Nguyên District.
Exploiting domestic stone and imported materials, the factory equipped with modern made-in-Italy processing line will provide marble slabs and tiles. About 80% of the products will be exported to the US. AMPL expects that the factory will earn US $100 million in the next three years.
