Five more patients cleared of COVID-19, total recoveries reach 92%

VGP – Five more COVID-19 patients have been cleared of the virus, raising the total recovered patients to 365, making up 92%, the National Hospital for Tropical Diseases reported Tuesday.

The latest recovered patients exit the National Hospital for Tropical Diseases on July 21, 2020.

Patient 358 is a 56-year old man, residing in Long Bien, Ha Noi.

Patient 361 is a 32-year old man in Krong Pa, Gia Lai Province.

Patient 365 is a 36-year old man in Yen Dinh, Thanh Hoa Province.

Patient 366 is a 45-year old man residing in Lam Thao, Phu Tho Province.

Patient 369 is a 30-year old woman in Ho Chi Minh City.

All these patients, hospitalized on July 5, will be medically monitored over the next 14 days.

The nation has gone 96 days without recording new COVID-19 community infection case.

Among 396 COVID-19 infection cases, 256 imported cases were sent for medical quarantine upon their arrivals.

The nation is putting 11,088 people, who have been in close contact with COVID-19 cases or come from the pandemic-hit areas, under medical surveillance, including 111 at hospitals, 9,949 at centralized quarantine sites and 1,028 at places of residence./.
