Foreign funds to Đồng Nai reach $16 million

VGP - Fifty-seven foreign non-governmental organizations and individuals implemented 67 programs and projects with total sum of nearly US $16 million and over € 58,000 in the 2006-2011 period in Đồng Nai Province.

The province on March 19 held a meeting to review the operation and the use of fund of foreign non-governmental organizations.

These projects and programs have focused on loan and scholarship provision, construction of houses and schools, medical checkups and treatment, traffic safety and environmental and resource protection.

Some projects and programs have been funded by The Dariu Foundation of Switzerland, the World Bank, the Asian Development Bank, Holt International Children's Services of the US, Christina Noble Children’s Foundation of the UK, Oxfam Solidarity of Belgium…
