Gov’t approves vaccine research and production through 2030

Under the program, the Government targets to ensure vaccines for the Expanded Program on Immunization which was first introduced in 1981.

By 2025, Viet Nam is expected to master technologies of 10 vaccines and capable of producing at least three vaccines.

By 2030, the country is expected to master technologies of 15 vaccines and capable of at last five vaccines.

The program will support improvement of research capacity through State-funded training and investment./.
