Gov’t chief approves foreign-funded projects

VGP – PM Nguyễn Tấn Dũng recently agreed with projects on irrigation and drainage, and an agreement on investment.

The Head of Government ratified the Project on irrigation management and improving irrigational systems. The US $130-million project was co-financed by the Asian Development Bank (ADB) and the French Development Agency (AFD). 

The Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development (MARD) is in charge of reviewing and signing the project on schedule. 

PM Nguyễn Tấn Dũng gave nods to a draft loan agreement on preferential credits from the Italian Government for the drainage and environmental hygiene project in the Núi Thành Urban Quarter of the central province of Quảng Nam.

The Government chief also agreed with the draft agreement on investment protection and encouragement between Việt Nam and the Kingdom of Bahrain. The Ministry of Planning and Investment was authorized to sign the agreement with representative of Bahrain while the Ministry of Foreign Affairs was entrusted to complete necessary procedures./.
