GTZ to implement healthcare project in VN

VGP - Under an agreement signed on October 27 in Hà Nội by representatives from the German Technical Cooperation Organization (GTZ) and the European Commission (EC) Delegation to Việt Nam, GTZ is empowered to engage in implementing a healthcare capacity enhancement project in Việt Nam.

With a fund of €1.5 million provided by EC, GTZ will upgrade equipment of the project on strengthening healthcare systems in 16 cities and provinces nationwide.

First of all, the program was kicked off in June 2009 in the two provinces of Yên Bái and Thanh Hóa.

At the agreement signing ceremony, Mr. Rolf Schulze, German Ambassador to Việt Nam, stressed that the cooperation between EC and GTZ proved the common voice of donors for Việt Nam, helping to provide local resident with better health services.
