HCMC establishes cooperative with Kuwaiti partner

VGP – A memorandum of understanding on establishing cooperative relations between Hồ Chí Minh City (Việt Nam) and Al-Ahmadi Province (Kuwait) was signed on December 7 in Hồ Chí Minh City.

In the memorandum, the two sides will push up cooperation in trade, investment, education, environment, science and technology, information and culture exchange, and sports.

Leaders of Al-Ahmadi hope that the province will become the connection between Việt Nam and other Arabian countries.

Al-Ahmadi is the first locality in the Middle East which Hồ Chí Minh City establishes the cooperation with. Kuwait is also the first country in the Middle East opening its consulate general in Hồ Chí Minh City.

At present, Hồ Chí Minh City are shaking hands with 16 provinces and cities in the world.
