HCMC names environmental polluters

Out of 15 export processing zones and industrial parks, 11 ones with 26 enterprises were named as polluters.

HEPZA accused those enterprises of discharging overly sewage, treating inadequately sewage, pouring untreated sewage into drainage system, not separating the sewage and drainage systems, and not treating emissions.

Other violations include ignoring environmental commitments, not registering unexpected dangerous wastes, inadequate transporting and managing toxic wastes, and exploiting  underground water without license.

In the time to come, any enterprise who breaks the environmental rules again will be dispossessed of business license, confirmed the HEPZA.
