Health ministry confirms 116 new COVID-19 cases

The number of daily new COVID-19 cases from June 10 to 0.30 pm on June 30

The imported case is a 32-year old woman who entered Viet Nam via Ha Tien international border gate in the southern province of Kien Giang on June 28.

All the others are domestic cases recorded in Ho Chi Minh City (63), Binh Duong (24), Hung Yen (9), Bac Giang (8), Bac Ninh (5), Phu Yen (2), Long An (1), Binh Dinh (1), Hai Phong (1) and Bac Kan (1). Of these, 112 cases were detected at quarantine camps or lockdown areas.

Among the national patient tally, 14,832 are locally-transmitted cases, including 13,262 reported since April 27 when the fourth wave of COVID-19 resurgence began.
