HN’s CPI down 0.23% in December

VGP – Ha Noi’s Consumer Price Index (CPI) fell 0.23% in December, posting a year-on-year increase of 1.55%, the lowest surge in recent years, according to the Municipal Statistics Office.

In December, eight out of 11 groups of products and services in the CPI basket saw rising prices. 

Telecom saw the sharpest price rise  (up 0.68%); followed by garments and textile, footwear, (up 0.54%); other services (0.51%); entertainment and tourism (0.42%); household utensils (0.26%) and beverage and cigarettes (up 0.12%).

Gold price rebounded by 0.13%. USD price went up 0.43% against the previous month./.
