Indochinese countries talk of trade-tourism expansion in Development Triangle

At the trilateral conference, the participants briefed each other their respective policies, investment environment, current legal framework, advantageous and investment incentives. They also discussed orientations for future cooperation.

Since the 2nd conference held in February 2008 in Cambodia’s Sihanouk Ville, the three countries have proactively accelerated the development of the Triangle. At present, the three countries' leaders are figuring out reasonable policies and regimes which will facilitate the travel and circulation of passengers and commodities as well as encourage investment and trade in the Development Triangle.

All delegates were unanimous in the necessary to create more favorable conditions for the area, especially tourism should be regarded as a key industry to enrich local budgets and fight against poverty.
