Lao PM offers condolences to VN over helicopter crash

VGP - Lao PM Thongsing Thammavong on July 8 cabled a message of condolences to his Vietnamese counterpart Nguyen Tan Dung over the military helicopter crash on July 7 in Ha Noi.

In his message, on behalf of the Lao Party, government and people, Mr. Thongsing Thammavong conveyed his sympathy to the Vietnamese Party, government, people and families of the deceased soldiers.

The accident occurred in Hoa Lac, Ha Noi's outlying district of Thach That during a parachute training exercise, killing 18 servicemen. Three injured in the crash are under intensive care.
