Medicine joint-venture plant ground-broken in central region

VGP – A medicine factory was ground-broken yesterday in the central city of Đà Nẵng by Danapha-Nanosoma Pharmaceutical Joint Stock Company (Danosoma).

The factory, scheduled to come into operation in October 2010, will be equipped with technology and machinery provided by US Affordable Quality Pharmaceuticals (AQP).
The US $3.2-million factory will churn out drugs for cancer, diabetes, hypertension, and heart-disease treatment.

Danosoma is a joint-venture between Vietnamese Pharmaceutical Corp (Vinapharm) holding 25% of stakes, the US Danapha 51% and AQP 24%.
