The first out of three major items of contents mentioned in the Program is to complete the legal corridor for food safety and sanitary by 2012.

Up to 2012, the MoH will complete technical standards on food safety and sanitary suitable to international regulations in order to protect the domestic markets and consumers.

Administrative reforms, external affairs and international economic integration are the third item of contents. Accordingly, in 2008, the MoH will finish reviewing administrative procedures for the issuance of documents relating to food safety and hygiene.

After 2008, the MoH will present transparent policies, legal documents, management mechanisms, issuance process of licenses, and the operation of the Food Safety and Sanitary Agency.
