Myanmar pledges higher agricultural ties with VN

VGP - Myanmar’s Minister of Agriculture and Irrigation Myint Hlaing has delivered his country’s pledges to create favorable conditions for Vietnamese investors in the field of agriculture.

The visiting Myanmar minister held talks with Vietnamese Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development Cao Đức Phát in Hà Nội on August 22.

The Vietnamese Minister noted that bilateral agriculture cooperation between the two countries still remains limited though both sides had a number of memorandums of understanding in the field.

Under these documents, the two countries agreed to beef up agriculture-based education and exchanges of scientific and technological research outcomes.
