NA Chairman Nguyễn Phú Trọng starts official trip to China

VNGOVNet – At the invitation of Chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress of the People's Republic of China Wu Pangguo, National Assembly Chairman Nguyễn Phú Trọng, his spouse and a senior delegation of the National Assembly started in the morning of April 08 their official visit to China.

This is the first visit to China paid by NA Chairman Nguyễn Phú Trọng as head of Vietnam's legislative body.

Recently, the bilateral relationship between Vietnam and China has been developed well in all fields. So, Chairman Nguyễn Phú Trọng's visit is expected to solidify and bring the traditional cooperation between the two countries to a new height.

On April 09, Chairman Nguyễn Phú Trọng will have talks with his counterpart Wu Pangguo. He will also separately meet Chinese Communist Party General Secretary, State President Hu Jintao and Chairman of the People's Political Consultative Conference Jia Qinglin before visiting some localities in China.
