NA convenes 4th session in October

VGP - The 13th National Assembly will convene its 4th session on October 22 this year, said Head of the Legislature's Office Nguyen Hanh Phuc at the 11th meeting of the NA Standing Committee on September 19.

Mr. Phuc said that the 4th session is expected to last for 25 days, excluding weekends.

The hearing session will take two and a half days with ministers and sector heads report on their commitments made at the second and third sessions.

The NA Standing Committee emphasized that the upcoming session will focus on several important issues. They include a draft resolution on the amendments and supplements to the 1992 Constitution, amendments to the draft laws on anti-corruption and the law on jobs.

Also the same day, the Standing Committee gave their opinions on the Government’s report on the execution of the law on practicing thrift and avoiding waste in 2012.
