New hematology center inaugurated in Southern city

The center now becomes one of Việt Nam's fourmost advanced blood banks, responsible for ensuring adequate supplies of blood and blood-related products for the whole Mekong Delta region.

In the time to come, hematology and blood transfusion activities will be conducted here on the basis of European standards.

The center also plans to cooperate with local hospitals to provide training courses to medical staff for more effective and safer use of blood products.
