One more Philippine national confirmed positive for COVID-19

VGP – Viet Nam confirmed one local and two imported cases of COVID-19 on Wednesday, raising the national caseload to 2,529.

The imported cases include a Philippine man who flew to Ho Chi Minh City on February 24 and was sent to a quarantine site in the southern province of Long An.

The man, aged 55, is being treated at the Long An Provincial General Hospital.

Among the national caseload, 2,004 have recovered and exited hospitals while 35 others have been reported dead.

The nation is placing more than 44,500 people under medical surveillance and quarantine nationwide in an effort to prevent the spread of the virus./.
