PetroVietnam expands investment in Africa

VGP – The Việt Nam National Oil and Gas Group (PetroVietnam) and the Sudan National Petroleum Corporation (Sudapet) just entered a cooperation agreement on exploring and exploiting oil and gas in Sudan, Việt Nam and third countries.

Sudapet introduced PetroVietnam some chances to pour money in petroleum activities in Sudan.

The two sides agreed to negotiate for petroleum contracts within January 1.

Earlier, on December 1, PetroVietnam and the Angolan National Petroleum Corporation (Sonagol) reached a similar agreement on exploiting oil and gas in Angola, Việt Nam and other countries.

Within December, the two sides will ink the Investment and Cooperation Agreements.
