PM applauds Japanese parties’ support for strategic ties

VGP – PM Nguyễn Tấn Dũng applauded Japanese parties’ support for consolidating the strategic partnership between Việt Nam and Japan.

The Government chief made the statement while receiving President of Japanese Liberal Democratic Party (LDP) Sadakazu Tanigaki.

PM Dũng took the occasion to thank Japanese Government for providing official development assistance to Việt Nam.

He hoped that the LDP and Japanese parliament will continue advocating joint cooperation programs and activities between the two nations, particularly in such fields of economics, trade and investment.

Việt Nam is now stepping up comprehensive international integration, thus the country treasures support from the international community, PM Dũng added.

For his part, Mr. Sadakazu Tanigaki expressed his thanks to the Vietnamese Government and people for effective assistance to Japanese people to overcome the consequences of the earthquake and tsunami last March.

He also spoke highly of Việt Nam’s recent achievements in dealing with global crisis and economic downturn.

The LDP President affirmed his party’s strong support for beefing up the bilateral ties.
