PM Nguyễn Tấn Dũng wraps up Argentina tour in success

VGP – PM Nguyễn Tấn Dũng, his spouse and entourage on April 19 (local time) successfully concluded their official visit to Argentina.

Before departing the Latin American country, on April 18, PM Nguyễn Tấn Dũng and his delegation met with Acting Governor of the Argentine state of Mendoza Cristian Racondo.

At the meeting, PM Dũng underlined that the Vietnamese Government welcomes and creates favorable conditions for Mendoza’s investors.

On the same day, the Vietnamese high-ranking delegation visited Mendoza-based IMPSA, a global company which dedicates to producing integral solutions for the generation of electric power from renewable resources and different industrial processes.

PM Dũng took this occasion to hail IMPSA for its decision to join with the Vietnamese partner (PV Power) in wind and hydro-power projects in Việt Nam with an estimated investment of US $3.2 billion.

New milestones in Vietnamese PM’s Argentina tour

- The top leaders of Việt Nam and Argentina reached unanimity in expanding the bilateral ties in all fields.

- PM Dũng chaired the groundbreaking ceremony for the construction of the Monument of President Hồ Chí Minh at the Việt Nam Park in Buenous Aires. The event reflects the long-lasting sentiments of Argentinean leaders and people towards President Hồ Chí Minh and the Vietnamese people. 

- The Argentine Government recognized Việt Nam as a market economy.
