PM okays a new IP in Bà Rịa-Vũng Tàu

VNGOP – Upon the proposal of the Bà Rịa-Vũng Tàu Province People's Committee and recommendations from the Ministry of Planning and Investment, the PM agreed on July 11 to the construction of the Châu Đức Urban and Industrial Park in the southern province.

The complex will cover a total area of 2,200 ha in which the IP accounts for 1,550 ha and the urban and service quarter 650 ha. The Biên Hòa Industrial Park Development Company will function as the major investor. The Châu Đức IP is included in the list of priority IPs to be built to 2015 under the PM's Decision 1107/QĐ-TTg dated on August 21, 2006.

The Bà Rịa-Vũng Tàu People's Committee Chairman was assigned to direct the investor in designing and submitting the related projects to the competent agencies for approval before licensing those projects.
