PM receives leaving Lao Ambassador

VNGOVNet – PM Nguyễn Tấn Dũng gave a reception to the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Lao People's Democratic Republic, Mr. Bounthone Sengkhammy, who came and took leave of him on April 10.

Mr. Bounthone Sengkhammy thanked the Vietnamese Communist Party, State, Government, ministries, sectors, local authorities and people for their support to him during his ambassadorship in Vietnam. He expressed his pleasure at the developed and deepened traditional relationship and long-time friendship between the two nations.

The Ambassador affirmed that he will continue to solidify the special Laos-Vietnam relationship.

PM Nguyễn Tấn Dũng hailed the Lao Ambassador's contribution to the bilateral good cooperation between the two countries.

The PM stressed that the Vietnamese Government and people always support and assist Laos in the cause of national construction and development, especially in economy, trade and investment. PM Nguyễn Tấn Dũng suggested the Vietnam-Laos Joint Committee to promote and implement the five-year cooperation plan as agreed by leaders of the two countries. The Committee should also seek for new cooperative fields at sectoral, local and enterprise levels, added the PM.

PM Nguyễn Tấn Dũng showed his hope that the two countries will finish the border demarcation and landmark planting soon as well as closely collaborate each other for economic development, socio-political stability and national security.
