PPP in agriculture screened

The participants heard reports prepared by five task force teams who are engaging in pilot PPP projects on vegetable and fruits, coffee, tea, aquaculture.

Mr. Richard Kaiser, General Director of Foods Pepsico Việt Nam said his company coordinated with the People’s Committee of the southern province of Lâm Đồng to establish a pilot farming of potato cultivation. If the project is successful, it will be expanded to other localities.

The company also called on the Dutch Government to seek its capital and seeds for the project.

Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development Cao Đức Phát  affirmed State agencies’ strong support for PPP projects to succeed.
