Prime Minister orders ODA working teams founded at governing agencies

VNGOVNet – To facilitate the works of the Government's ODA Working Team, on November 23, PM Nguyễn Tấn Dũng authorized the Head of the Team to request ministries and local authorities governing the ODA projects and programs beset with low disbursement and delays to establish their own ODA working teams which will function to help the heads of these agencies implement the PM’s instructions and realize recommendations from the Government's ODA Working Team.

The PM decided that the Government’s ODA Working Team would assist the ministries and localities in handling difficulties in the preparation of ODA programs and projects, especially large-scale and complex ones involving many regions and sectors.

To make it easier for the Government’s ODA Working Team to work, PM Nguyễn Tấn Dũng authorized the Head of the Team to decide changes on the team's personnel from the post of Deputy Head downwards on the proposal of the agencies participating in the Working Team. The PM also ordered increased representation from the participating organs on the Team’s Secretariat.
