Quang Ngai to strengthen coastal management capacity

The project concentrates on enhancing coordination mechanisms, communication activities on natural resources and environment; raising public awareness; building information management systems for coastal areas; analyzing current situation; establishing documents on natural resources and environment for coastal areas; and assessing environmental risks for coastal areas in Quang Ngai province.

In addition, the project also develops a implementation strategy on management of coastal areas.

It aims to strengthen the State management capacity to exploit and use efficiently natural resources, protect the marine environment and serve coastal areas’ socio-economic sustainable development.

The project has a total investment of over VND 8.6 billion that comes from the state budget./.
