RoK funds 500-bed hospital in central province

The total investment of the project is over US$38.6 million, mainly sourced from the Republic of Korea’s official development assistance.

After three-year construction with design, project management and facilities provided by Korean contractors, it has been put into operation since January 2, 2013. The hospital, with modern facilities and technical infrastructure, can serve 750 patients per day. So far, it has served over 10,000 patients.

The hospital is a facility for medical practice of the Hue University of Medicine and Pharmacy, the largest provincial practice facility with many clinical and subclinical faculties, while providing medical examination and treatment for local and regional patients.
