Seven marine tourist projects for foreign investment

VGP – At a recent seminar themed “Việt Nam sea tourism – opportunity for success” held in Paris by the Bank for Investment and Development of Việt Nam, seven sea tourist projects in Hải Phòng, Phú Yên, Bình Định, Khánh Hòa, Bà Rịa Vũng Tàu, and Đà Nẵng were introduced for investment mobilization.

The seven projects will forge opportunities for foreign investors to make profit and bring Việt Nam’s sea potentiality into full play.

1. Hồ Tràm Osaka Resort & Spa in Vũng Tàu needs US $35 million in the first stage while its total investment is estimated at US $4 billion.  

2. Celadon Rebrands Resort in Khánh Hòa Povince calls for US $160 million.

3. Cái Giá Tourism and Urban Area Project in Hải Phòng wants US $25.2 million in the first stage.

4. Thuận Thảo Resort in Phú Yên Province calls for US $45.4 million.

5. Rainbow Resort project in Bình Định needs US $11.2 million as loans for a 56-ha world-class resort.

6. Đà Nẵng Luxury Resort in Khuê Mỹ Ward of Đà Nẵng City wants loans worth of US $70 million.

7. Olalani Resort and Condotel, another project in Đà Nẵng City requires US $16 million for construction.

According to Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Huỳnh Vĩnh Ái, in the coming years, one of orientations for Việt Nam’s tourism industry is to build large-scale and modern tourist complexes.
