State President starts visit to Cuba

VGP – State President Tran Dai Quang, his spouse and a high-level Party and State delegation arrived in Havana on November 15 to begin the official visit to Cuba from November 15-17.

The State President’s visit has shown Viet Nam’s respect and determination to strengthening the relationship with Cuba.

The two sides’ leaders will focus on exchanging measures to deepen the relationship in all fields, said the State leader at an interview at the airport in Havana, adding that the two sides will gradually promote the economic, trade and investment relations to a higher level.

Viet Nam and Cuba will coordinate to support each other at international organizations and forums to ensure legal rights and benefits of each side as well as contribute to the regional and international peace, stability, cooperation and development.
