Three Vietnamese Returnees Confirmed Positive For COVID-19

VGP – Viet Nam confirmed three new imported cases of COVID-19 on Monday, raising the national caseload to 2,557.

Specifically, patient 2555 is a 35-year-old man flew from Finland to France and then took a flight to Ha Noi on March 9.

He is being treated at the National Hospital for Tropical Diseases in Ha Noi’s Dong Anh District.

Patient 2556 is a 45-year-old woman brought home from the United Arab Emirate on March 10 and was sent to a concentrated quarantine site in the nearby province of Dong Nai.

She is being treated at the Dong Nai Provincial Hospital for Lung Diseases.

Patient 2257 is a 35-year-old woman in Tan Hoa Commune, Chau Thanh District, Hau Giang Province.

She returned home on February 27 via Ha Tien Border Gate in the southern province of Kien Giang.

The patient is being treated at the Ha Tien City Medical Center.

The same day, 29 patients were declared free of the virus, bringing the total recoveries to 2,115./.
