Tourism sector continues to see positive indicators

Over 383,000 foreign guests have arrived in Việt Nam in September only.

According to the latest data, in the first nine months, the number of guests for tourism and convalescence purposes is 2.3 million, up 43.3%; for working 757,000, up 39.8%; and for visiting relatives 425,000, up 2%.

From January to September, Việt Nam has received 676,000 arrivals from China, up 89,2% compared to the same period last year; 365,000 from the Republic of Korean (29.4%), 318,000 from Japan (18.7%) and 325,000 from the US (2.4%).

The tourism sector has pocketed VND 70,000 billion./.
