Two new COVID-19 cases confirmed, total reaches 1,009

Patient 1,008 is a 75-year old woman from Hoa Tien Commune, Hoa Vang District, Da Nang.

She is mother of COVID-19 patient 988.

Patient 1,009 is a 47-year old man from Nai Hien Dong Ward, Son Tra District, Da Nang.

He is the fourth member of a family in which his mother, wife and son had tested positive for the virus.

The latest patients are being treated at the Hoa Vang field hospital.

Among the country’s patient tally, 545 have recovered and 25 others died of the virus and other diseases./.
