US to finance human influenza control in 2007-2012

VNGOVNet – On the proposal of the Ministry of Planning and Investment, the PM has just agreed to take over the Project "Increased monitoring and control over human influenza during 2007-2012 - Stage I: 2007-2008" granted with a nonrefundable aid of US$ 1,150,000 by the US Center for Diseases Control and Prevention (CDC).

The PM entrusted leaders of the Ministry of Health to direct the completion of the Project’s files before approving and signing the Project with the CDC. The Ministry of Health will be also responsible for implementing the Project under current regulations on managing and using foreign NGO funds.
