Viet Nam confirms 103 new COVID-19 cases, 171 recoveries

VGP – The Ministry of Health confirmed 103 COVID-19 cases on Sunday evening, raising the national caseload to 10,538.

The latest patients were recorded in Ho Chi Minh City (44), Bac Giang (33), Bac Ninh (16), Ha Tinh (9), and Binh Duong (1).

With these new cases, Sunday’s count reached 297, according to the ministry.

The same day, the ministry also reported that 171 patients were discharged from hospital, bringing the total recoveries to 3,998.

The Coronavirus-related death toll stood at 59./.
