Viet Nam confirms 71 new COVID-19 cases

VGP - The Ministry of Health recorded 71 new COVID-19 cases on Tuesday morning, raising the national caseload to 10,881.

The latest patients includes a 36-year-old Vietnamese man returning home via Moc Bai international border gate in the southern province of Tay Ninh on June 11.

All the others are local infections in Bac Giang (28), Ho Chi Minh City (23) and Bac Ninh (19).

Among the national caseload, 9,238 are locally-transmitted cases, including 7,668 cases having been confirmed in 40 provinces and cities since the fourth wave of COVID-19 resurgence broke out on April 27, 2021.
