Women’s qualifications,
skills and competence will be enhanced to meet the demands of
industrialization, modernization and international integration.
They will be involved
in social activities, contributing to the society and their families.
One of the seven
top priorities of the Action Plan is to strengthen the leadership at all levels
and in all political organizations related to gender equality, improve effective
State management over gender equality and promote interdisciplinary
coordination for women’s progress.
The Government stipulates that Central and local administrative bodies will
have responsibility to map out mechanisms ensuring women’s involvement in the decision-making
process and increase the proportion of female representatives in the
legislative bodies.
