Vinashin hands over 6,500 DWT cargo ship

VGP - The Bạch Đằng Shipbuilding Industry Corp on Monday handed over a cargo ship to its client, the Northern Shipping Joint Stock Company (Nosco).

The 6,500 DWT ship is one of the twenty ships that the company will build for Nosco’s parent company, the Việt Nam National Shipping Lines.

The 102.79 m long and 17m wide ship with a capacity of 3,600 HP is built under the supervision of the Nippon Kaiji Kyokai (NK) Register of Shipping of Japan, meeting the international maritime regulations.

The Bạch Đằng Shipbuilding Industry Corp is a an affiliate of the Việt Nam Shipbuilding Industry Group (Vinashin) which is implementing a comprehensive restructuring plan.
