Visa exemption being negotiated with some countries

VGP – The PM authorized the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA), in coordination with relevant ministries and agencies, to negotiate with Egypt, Italy, Lithuania and Spain about agreements on visa exemption.

The PM gave nod to the contents of the draft agreement between the Government of Việt Nam and the Egyptian Government on visa exemption for diplomatic, special and business passport holders.

He also okayed the similar drafts between Việt Nam and Italy, Lithuania, and Spain on visa exemption for diplomatic passport holders.

The MoFA is assigned to sign the agreements with representatives of the four governments.

So far, Việt Nam has signed 57 agreements on visa exemption with 55 countries and 54 documents have come into effect.
